Thoughtfully crafted with water-repellent, stretch fabric and a breathable double-weave interior, they balance rugged performance with effortless style. Whether you’re heading into the mountains or just out for a day of errands, these shorts are made to go the distance. Featuring eight pockets: Two large, 10" deep x 8" wide, for maps and snacks, two secure front-hand pockets, 9" deep x 4" wide, for phones and keys, two back climbing-style pockets, 5" deep x 8" wide, for quick access to gear, and two smaller back-hand pockets, 5" deep x 5" wide, for essentials like hand sanitizer. I am usually not a shorts wearer but I really like my 8 pocket pants so thought I‚Äôd give the shorts a try. I followed the sizing advice and went up a size from my long pants from a L to XL. The L shorts fit everywhere, although slimmer than the long pants, however the rise was too short and uncomfortable so I went with the XL. They a loose and comfy if not a bit big in the waist but that‚Äôs okay with me. I purchased the Garnet color expecting a reddish color as to me, the photo online looks sort of reddish brown and garnets are reddish! These shorts are brown and that‚Äôs fine, just not garnet. üòä
I love these shorts! DANEL hit it out of the park again with another highly functional and highly flattering piece. I am 5’2 and around 110 lbs and chose the small for a comfortable fit.
I love the shorts. I got tired of always finding woman’s short as TOO short. The material is great and I supper appreciate many pockets. Zippered pockets on both side are also a huge add value. I did end up ordering a second set one size up. So, now I have them in Large and Xtra Large. Im hoping they will be just a bit longer. All I need now is more color choices.
Every item of clothing should come with pockets, and I bought these shorts because they have 8 pockets! There are 2 on the front that are zip-ups - which are really convenient so you don't waste time fumbling around trying to remember which pocket something was put in. I usually wear a M but sized up to L after reading the other reviews. My only wish is that these shorts came in more different (brighter) colors, like red, pink, green, orange....
