Ordered these Friday night and they were delivered Tuesday morning - love fast shipping! They are a great looking hiking pant. Love the flat front trouser look with only elastic in the back of the waist. Bought these for a trip to Norway but will also use them regularly on hikes in Asheville. Would love to see this pant in a few other fun colorways, and possibly an option with a built-in belt.
I just received these pants (it took about a week from order to delivery), and I loved them so much that I ordered another pair. I bought a S - I'm just under 5'4", about 130 lbs, and the length is perfect (first hiking pants I've ever bought that I won't have to cuff in order to wear), there is plenty of leg room, and the waist fits just right - I can move freely, and I don't think I'll need to worry about them riding down with the pack on (an issue I've had with all of my other hiking pants, even while wearing a belt). The best part is that they look like "real" pants, and I can easily wear them in situations other than hiking. The color (I got the olive color originally, the pair I just ordered is the navy) is beautiful as well. This is more than I've ever spent for hiking pants, but I think they're well worth it since they're so multipurpose.
An amazing pant. Fit right out of the box, was roomy and stretched in the right places without sagging. But would they hold up to “as advertised”? I took them on a 14 day trip to Patagonia, along with two other tried-and-true brands of hiking pants. DANEL not only were by far the “dressiest” pants brought, but also the only ones that looked the same at the beginning and the end, WITHOUT washing. They went through dirt, rain, winds of 50 mph, river crossings and rock climbing. I wore them on the plane back home and the looked pristine.
I wanted to try the 8 pocket style but the price point of those is too high, and they didn’t stick my size during the sales. Very sadly.
I have been wearing them basically everyday on a trip to the galapagos and they have been a lifesaver for sun protection while still being breathable and not too hot. Cute, lightweight, and love the zipper pockets for travel.
